The Ashley Tee | Unisex

The Ashley Tee was created in collaboration with my cousin Ashley as she battles stage III breast cancer.

On the sleeve, SIREN + SOL × Ashley is finished with Ashley’s own handwritten signature, making her literally a part of every shirt.

The shell-bra placement carries a little more meaning, too. After undergoing a double mastectomy as part of her treatment, Ashley deserves a damn good pair of mermaid boobs! A playful take on the quintessential mermaid shell bra, two vintage-inspired scallop shells sit across the chest in rich, tonal shades of rose and wine. The shell artwork was reimagined by SIREN + SOL from Charles Dessalines d’Orbigny’s mollusk illustrations published in the 1892 edition of Dictionnaire Universel d’Histoire Naturelle; digitally restored, recolored, and reworked for this design.

But more importantly, this shirt was created to help support Ashley and her family as they battle cancer together.

For every Ashley Tee sold, $14 goes directly to Ashley and her family. SIREN + SOL does not profit from this fundraiser: the remainder covers the cost of producing, printing, and fulfilling each shirt, along with associated fees.
